Points Program Terms
Points and referrals
Last updated: October 29, 2026
The short version
- Points are a record of your activity. They have no cash or crypto value and can’t be sold or sent.
- Invite rewards are given once per device, after your friend makes a swap or network move of at least US$10.
- Points earned unfairly, such as with fake accounts or repeated installs, are removed.
- We can change or end the program at any time.
These terms are part of our Terms of Service. If they conflict, these terms apply to the points program.
1. Who can take part
- You must be eligible to use Kantan under our Terms of Service, including being at least 18 years old.
- Referral rewards are not available to people located in the United Kingdom, or in other places where the law doesn’t allow them. The app shows whether they are available where you are.
- People who work for us or with us to run the program can’t earn referral rewards.
2. How you earn points
- Activity: you may earn points for swaps and network moves made in Kantan. The app shows the current ways to earn and how many points each one gives.
- Helpful feedback: we may give points when you send us feedback that helps improve Kantan, such as a suggestion we adopt or a problem you report. Whether we give points, and how many, is up to us.
- Inviting friends: you earn points when someone joins with your invite code and then completes a swap or network move worth at least US$10. This is counted once per device.
- Joining with a code: you can add an invite code when you start, or once later in Settings. After it is added, it can’t be changed or removed. A code added later counts from the day you started using Kantan.
- Your invite code can’t be used on your own devices or accounts.
- Points may take some time to appear while we check the activity.
3. What points are, and what they are not
- Points have no cash or crypto value. They are not money, property, a security, a token or a deposit, and they don’t earn interest.
- Points can’t be sold, transferred, exchanged or combined with other accounts, unless we say otherwise in the app.
- Points are not a promise of any future token, airdrop, reward or right. We don’t guarantee that points will ever be redeemable for anything.
- If we ever let you use points for something, we will tell you the rules first. Those rules may add conditions, and any value you receive may be taxable.
4. Fair play
To keep the program fair, we check that the app and device are genuine using Apple and Google device checks. Modified apps, emulators and modified devices don’t earn referral points. We may remove points, cancel referral rewards or stop your participation if we reasonably believe that points were earned through:
- fake, duplicate or shared accounts, or repeated installs on the same device;
- inviting yourself, or arranging swaps only to earn points;
- bots, scripts or other automation;
- breaking these terms, our Terms of Service or the law.
We review suspicious activity carefully and make the final decision in good faith. If you think we made a mistake, email support@kantan-wallet.com.
5. Sharing your invite
- Share your invite only with people you know, and only where it is allowed.
- Don’t send spam, post your code where it isn’t welcome, or buy search or social media ads that use the Kantan name or logo.
- If you share your invite publicly, for example on social media, make clear that you may earn points when people join.
- Don’t say anything false or misleading about Kantan, including promises of profit, free money or guaranteed rewards.
6. Privacy
To run the program we keep your invite code, the code you joined with, your points and the activity that earned them. We don’t show your name to the people you invite, and we don’t show you their names. See our Privacy Policy for details.
7. Changes and ending the program
- We may change how points are earned, change these terms, or pause or end the program at any time. If a change is important, we will tell you in the app first.
- Points end when you delete your Kantan account, or when the program ends.
